What materials does Trófica collect and sell?
Today, Trófica sells rPET and cardboard – but soon we will be diversifying our material offering. If you’re interested in a specific material, please feel free to write us a message.
Where is Trófica operating?
Trófica’s recycling warehouse is located just outside of Cartagena, Colombia, but today we have collection operations through our network of recycling centers in all of Bolivar. We’ll be expanding Trófica’s network and operations within Colombia’s coastal region in the next two years: if you know of a city or state that could benefit from Trófica’s services, get in touch.
I have to collect and certify a specific material under the Law 2232 of 2022. Where do I start?
Trófica has worked with various large scale companies (Coca Cola, Postobón, Visión Circular) in the certification of recyclable material, especially plastics. If you’re interested in accessing an exclusive material certification network – especially if the material you require is challenging to recycle – we work with you to co-design a personalized material supply chain with recycling centers in our network. Does being a part of Trófica’s network cost money?
As a waste generator or recycling center, being a part of Trófica’s recycling network is completely free.
For FMCG or recycling plant organizations, we offer paid certification and consultancy programs, as well as the sale of recyclable material.
